The Phil & Jennie Gaglardi Academy Awards was on the beautiful evening of June 26. It was a fabulous event that showcased all the hard work our students did over the school year. We had so many first class and honour roll students, plus a host of other awards and achievements that were given out. Well done, students!
Two Year-in-review videos were shown which brought back many fond memories of all the fun events and activities we'd done since September. Plus our teacher video finally answered the ever-present, and sometimes frustrating, question, "What's with all the ducks?" to the relief of all present. Director, Mrs. Pitcher, then threw rubber duckies into the crowd to the stretched out hands of the students. It was chaotic there for a bit! Finally, a video of the missions trip to Tanzania showed the meaningful work that our grade 12 missions team did which transformed their lives as well as those they were serving.
So many smiles, so many awards, so much thankfulness! We have such a great school! Check out the photos for proof!
