After months of fundraising, our missions team left for Tanzania, Africa, on May 25 from Comox Valley airport. While in Tanzania, they will first take part in a safari then travel to Inala where they will minister to orphans with the organization, Juma's World. This is their first update from Tanzania!
The safari yesterday was amazing! We saw the "Big 5" as well as migrating wildebeest, hyenas, gazelles, baboons, impala, a jackal and vervet monkeys! The team travelled in 2 jeeps that had their roofs open for us to stand and see out. It was amazing! Some of the dirt roads were pretty bumpy (fun) but praise God we were safely delivered back to the hotel by 7ish. After a delicious meal and prayer, we all turned in for an early night. Travelling to Tabora today (8hr drive) so prayers are appreciated.
