Welcome to our Volunteer page! Here you will find ways to connect at Gaglardi Academy by volunteering. Before you get started though, all parent volunteers are required to have a Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Check. Click on the Criminal Record Check tab on the left sidebar to go to the online application. The ACCESS CODE is F4W3B592WP. The application takes around 7-10 days to process and will be sent directly to the school office. (Please note: the Internet Explorer browser works the best when accessing this site. If you have difficulties, please try this web address: www.ecrc_bc.ca.)
If you've completed the above step, you are now on your way and able to volunteer in our school. Some places to serve and fulfill your 25 volunteer hours are helping in the classroom, serving on the Parent Advisory Council (PAC), assisting with the hot lunch program, and supervising morning and lunch recess. All these places need parent involvement for our school to be successful. You will find these opportunities (and more!) listed in the Volunteer Opportunities tab also located on the left sidebar.
Would you also like to help on field trips away from the school? Great! You will then need to get a Driver's Abstract from ICBC. Click the Driver's Abstract tab (left sidebar) to start the process.
