STUDENT SUPERVISION POLICY

It is the policy at Gaglardi Academy to supervise the students during the school day. This policy applies whether the students are on campus, on field trips during normal school days, or on an overnight school-sponsored event.
On-Campus Supervision

- 10:20-10:40 am (Morning Recess)
- 12:10-12:50 pm (Lunch Recess)
Recess supervision stations include:
- Undercover area
- K-3 playground
- Backfield

- The drivers will be supplied with a student list with home and emergency numbers for every student, and with the B.C. Medical number and any pertinent medical information for each student.
- Students will only be let off at either the school campus, their regular home stop or another regular stop if previous arrangements have been made.
External Carriers
Supervision ratios are in effect. The bus driver is considered as one responsible adult. The medical and safety documentation for each child must be on the bus with the children.
